Scope and operator
These Terms of Use set out the rules for accessing and using the Watsmen website, operated by Watsmen (“we”, “us” or “our”). Please read them before using the site. If you do not agree with these terms, please discontinue use.
The website introduces Watsmen’s approach, capabilities and engagement platforms and provides a way to make enquiries. These terms concern website use. They do not replace a quotation, purchase order, confidentiality agreement or signed contract governing a specific relationship.
Information and professional judgment
Website content is general corporate information. It is not project-specific engineering, safety, legal, tax, financial or investment advice and should not be used as a substitute for appropriate professional assessment.
Descriptions of capabilities, sectors or platforms do not constitute a binding offer, an assurance of availability, a funding commitment, a financial-product promotion or a claim of professional licensing or programme accreditation. Scope, technical authority, qualifications and applicable approvals must be established for the particular requirement.
Sector images are illustrative. They do not, by themselves, depict Watsmen-owned assets, employees or completed projects.
Enquiries and business engagements
Submitting an enquiry or receiving an acknowledgement does not create a contract, appoint Watsmen as an adviser or require either party to proceed. A timeline selected in the form expresses your requested timing; it is not a confirmed response or delivery commitment.
Any engagement is subject to assessment and agreement on the contracting entity, mandate, scope, responsibilities, qualified professionals, delivery partners, approvals, commercial terms and acceptance criteria. Where relevant, those matters are confirmed in a separate written agreement before commitment.
Information you submit should be accurate to the best of your knowledge, and you should be authorised to act for any organisation you represent. Please tell us if a material detail changes.
Responsible use
You may use the website for lawful information gathering and genuine enquiries. You must not:
- Send spam, malicious code, misleading impersonations or unlawful, threatening or rights-infringing material.
- Attempt unauthorised access to systems or enquiry records, bypass security controls or interfere with the website’s operation.
- Use automated requests in a way that disrupts availability, circumvents safeguards or unlawfully collects personal information.
- Misrepresent an association with Watsmen or use the website to carry out fraud or another unlawful activity.
We may take proportionate steps to restrict misuse or address a security risk. Report a suspected vulnerability to info@watsmen.com without accessing other people’s information or disrupting the service.
Content and intellectual property
Unless stated otherwise, the website’s text, design, branding and other materials belong to Watsmen or are used with permission from their respective rights holders. Third-party names and marks remain the property of their owners.
You may view, link to, download or print reasonable extracts for personal reference or internal business evaluation, keeping attribution and rights notices intact and preserving their meaning. Broader reproduction, redistribution, commercial reuse or use of Watsmen branding requires permission unless applicable law allows it.
Links must not imply an endorsement or partnership that has not been agreed. These terms do not restrict quotation or other uses permitted by law.
Your information and confidential material
You retain any intellectual property rights in material you submit. You permit Watsmen to receive, store, copy and share it with people and service providers as reasonably needed to assess and respond to your enquiry, subject to our Privacy Policy and applicable law. Submission does not give Watsmen a general right to publish your material or use it for unrelated purposes.
The contact form is intended for an initial requirement summary. It does not establish a confidentiality agreement. Before sending trade secrets, detailed proprietary designs or other confidential documents, agree suitable confidentiality and delivery arrangements with us.
Do not submit passwords, identity documents, payment-card details or sensitive personal information through the form.
External links and services
The website may link to independent websites or use providers to deliver website and enquiry services. External sites have their own terms and privacy practices. A link does not mean that Watsmen endorses every statement, product or service on the destination site.
FormSubmit is used for enquiry email delivery, as explained in our Privacy Policy. These terms do not remove any responsibility Watsmen has under applicable law for its own use of service providers.
Accuracy, availability and changes
We aim to keep corporate information clear and accurate, but content can become outdated or contain an error. Please confirm any information material to a technical or commercial decision directly with Watsmen.
Access may be interrupted for maintenance, technical faults, security measures or circumstances outside our reasonable control. We may update or withdraw website content. Changes to this informational website do not alter a separately agreed contractual obligation.
Responsibility and mandatory rights
Each user is responsible for the decisions they make using general website information and for obtaining the assessments appropriate to their circumstances. Responsibility for a specific product, service or project is established in the relevant agreement and applicable law.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. Mandatory consumer rights, data protection rights and other protections continue to apply.
Questions, disputes and applicable law
If a concern arises from using the website, contact info@watsmen.com with enough detail for us to investigate and respond. We encourage a practical discussion to resolve concerns, without restricting access to a regulator, court or other remedy available under applicable law.
These terms operate subject to applicable law and do not take away mandatory protections or impose compulsory arbitration. Any agreed governing law or dispute procedure for a specific business engagement will be addressed in its separate agreement, subject to mandatory legal requirements.
Updates to these terms
The effective date above identifies this version. We may revise these terms as the website or applicable requirements change. Revisions will be published here and apply prospectively; they do not retrospectively change an existing agreement or remove accrued rights. Material changes will be brought to users’ attention where required.
If a provision cannot lawfully be applied, the remaining provisions continue to the extent permitted by law. Questions about these terms can be sent to info@watsmen.com.
